In large projects, file names are rarely informative. When the deadline is burning, finding "that exact summer landscape background" among thousands of archives can be impossible. We have introduced a new visual search mode in Asset Lab that understands what is actually depicted in your assets.

How does smart search work?

Unlike traditional search, which only looks for matches in file names, layer names inside PSD files, and content within archived storage, our AI mode analyzes the actual visual content of images.

It's very simple:

  1. Turn on AI mode in the search bar.
  2. Enter a text query - for example, "dog," "red car," or "summer landscape."
  3. The service will instantly filter and display all relevant visuals from your project.

In this mode, the system completely ignores file names and metadata, focusing exclusively on visual content.

How this changes your workflow

  • No more manual tagging: You don't need to spend time labeling and tagging every asset. The AI "knows" the content of each file for you.
  • Search by meaning, not by mask: Even if a file is named IMG_9923.png, it will be found with the query "girl with a phone."
  • A second life for your legacy: Easily find old successful assets that were previously lost deep inside folders.

Clarity and focus

We intentionally separated these modes: AI search returns only relevant images without cluttering results with name-based matches. This allows designers and UA managers to find the required source materials in seconds.

Your archives store thousands of opportunities - now you can find any of them in seconds. Activate AI mode in Asset Lab and forget about manual tagging forever.
